Hi,

will the new Live 8 support Polyphonic Aftertouch?
It'd be so great, especially when using E-drum and Drum-VSTs.

See ya!

Hi,
can you give me more explanations?

I've tried to play with a Roland TD-9 and the Polyphonic Aftertouch signals were not recorded :?

well...on each instrument's modulation section you'll find an aftertouch param...which can be used...
try and use it...
also in your recorded midi clips go to clip envelopes...
choose 'midi control' and then 'channel pressure' below...to see if after touch is recorded..

I've tried with an E-Drum Roland TD-9 connected on my Edirol UA-101 soundcard.
In the mide tab of Sampler, I can see footctrl but not Channel Pressure.

Should I asign a control surface in Live prefs?

:)

nope.
in samplers midi tab you have 'Chan Pressure'... just assign it to the filter or something...set it to 100...
activate the filter and check if it responds...
