So I can load up a fully custom mapped operator by just dragging it on a track?

if you mean max4Live, nobody knows, it's not out yet.
probably not.
They will be. But the question is whether Operator can be made to retain midi mappings. Perhaps through the official API with M4L?otnooishphoo wrote:Tone Deft wrote:you can't drop Operator into max.

so you dont think the preset or pattr(etc) objects will be included ?
wait, operator doesn't remember which midi cc# you assiged to it in a rack?stringtapper wrote:

of course it does. there are also buttons to switch banks of controls.Grappadura wrote:Does it also work with live native stuff? The problem is its got only 8 knobs, and I don´t wanna switch around between the different parameters.
it works fine on the BCR but the SL implementation is better.I´d rather have my BCR manage that.
no. OK at this point I have to drop rtfm and 'use the forum search.'I guess automap is still for novation only right?
well, people have done without it for decades, you'll find a way.I think its really a pity that I can´t get ahold of the midi map savings, which are somewhere saved within live, for each project independently, so why shouldn´t I just be able to load those files?![]()
omfg man, automap, rtfm, search the forum, you're missing out on a lot.I´d really love to have my bcr control only operator... Every time I load it up its all mapped... That´d be fantastic.
uh.Grappadura wrote:Rack mappings are not midi mappings.
actually they are..Grappadura wrote:Rack mappings are not midi mappings.
I think a wee rightclick on your Operator>lock to control surface(BCR) may get you what you're looking for.Grappadura wrote:thx tone
I´ve got a remote sl compact. Does it also work with live native stuff? The problem is its got only 8 knobs, and I don´t wanna switch around between the different parameters.

regarding max4Live and all this, it's all rampant speculation.

So what if I want to use ALL 32 KNOBS on the BCR2000 instead of the 8 available knobs?
