Controling Jomox Airbase through an Ableton midi-channel

Hi,
Here's the problem:
I can't control my drumcomputer through ableton.
I want to play in some notes in a midi clip.
I did the following step by step:
- create a midi channel and a midi clip.
- in the mixer: midi from = all ins / ch1, monitor = on, midi to = usb audiophile midi out / ch1....
I did the similar for my nordlead synth. It worked perfectly.
But with my drumcomputer I don't know how to solve this problem....
In Cubase SX there's also a midi-monitor button you have to activate before my drumcomputer can receive midi signals. In Ableton i couldn't find such a function.
I need some help.
