1. Record track in Arrange view
2. Delete recorded clip in Arrange view
3. The clip will disappear in the Arrange view, but will remain in the Clip Overview/Zooming Hotspot until the counter is reset to 1.1.1

Not a huge bug, but could cause a bit of confusion.
Can anyone confirm this?

Yes, confirmed. It still happens in 8.0 beta 16.
