TONIGHT of all nights, Brisbane Ableton Collective is having it's first workshop of the year and we're into'ing LIVE8.

Looper was set to Loop after 4 bars and then shift into overdub mode. Unfortunately Didn't! it just continued one recording until I hit the record/play button again at which time it went into overdub mode, BUT the tempo was out because of the long record time.

This was a problem a few beta version ago but it seems to have surfaced once again.

oh yeah, FORGE will back me up on this one... he was there too!

Just to be sure: if Live transport is not running, then you've got to hit the Looper big button, or the play button as to tell Live "this was 4 bars". Or, was the transport running?

Hey Amaury,

The Live transport was running, it worked maybe 4 our of 5 times but during my main explanation in the usergroup it did not shift into overdub mode after 4 bars as it should have.

I was striking this problem regulary a few betas ago but thought it was fixed but then it struck again with this latest beta.

Could try restart Live, reproduce the problem, and do a "Bug Reporting Snapshot" from the help menu, then send the file to [email protected]?
