[amo] copy loop with drag - 8.0b15

I'm running Live on a mac with 10.5.6 and I'm addicted to copying loops from one scene to another by holding down option and doing a click-and-drag. When I've been playing with the beta today, this gesture seems pretty flakey - it's only been working about half of the time.

Does this still behave the same in beta 19? If so, can you pin down the wrong behaviour to a few steps?

It doesn't seem to be happening for me in b19. Of course, last time I was actually working on something and this time I'm doing it very much on purpose, but I can't do anything to make it happen. Makes me happy.
