Can Live 4 do this?

Can Live 4 completely replace Fruity now? Can you create more realistic tracks? Can you use Soundfonts? If so, that would be awesome! I have a 60 MB Soundfont file, which is bound to break all the windows in my house. heh.
Please let me know, if Live 4 has the ability to beat Fruity out of the Competition?

Simple answer: YES.
I'd use the many available SoundFont VSTi players that are out there to host your SoundFonts in LIVE 4.

But sadly it won't support DirectX or RTAS such as Antares Auto-Tune 4 RTAS & DirectX plugin will it? Or is there such thing as a DirectX to VST convertor?

whats better...

Dont know but whenever I use fruity rewired in to live, live crashes whenever I try to close it down. Fruitys implementation of Rewire seems a bit flaky in my opinion.
Nevertheless Fruity`s midi leaves Live 4 in the starting blocks, but then they have been at it for considerably longer.

hmm. have u been to fruity'ss help page on rewire?
i have used fruity and live rewired, in both master/slave and slave/ master, and it is rock solid. has been for 6 motnhs.
i havent done it wiht live 4 yet, but will today.
in case you're using cracked fruity, that would explain it, sicen you most likely wouldnt have the latest revision, and, coulnt access the web page with all the forums.
maybe its somethin else...you have to close the windows just the right way to avoid the crash.
cheers
