Waveshell VST 5.0 and live 3 & 4

All I can say is that Live version 3 or 4 will not open with VST Waveshell 5. Once I removed this Live is back up and running.
I'm sure you probably already know this.

cant open live 4.0.1 since I upgraded waves to 5.0....someone help us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IIRC from the beta period this is in Wave's court not Ableton's.

I upgraded from WS 4 to WS 5. Both crashed Live. When taken out, all is ok.
I assume its Ableton who should talk to Waves and not users.
We did whats recommended in FAQ - upgrade to WS 4 or WS 5.
Any solution in near future, Ableton?

There are currently problems using the Waveshell VST v.5.
The AU seems to work fine. Please see also:
