Senator Joyce has clearly misunderstood the mood of the Australian public if he thinks we will see this as a bad thing.
"It's like a madman giving you free beers at a pub - you'll drink them but you won't respect him," Nationals Senate leader Barnaby Joyce told reporters.
who won't respect them? I sure as bloddy well will.

"Barnaby Joyce" sounds like the name of a fictional childhood bear.

this is the amazing paradox of all this economic shite

there's a lot of conservative types moaning about the fact that the Government gave "the people" 10 Billion dollars worth of "handouts", yet they are all totally happy to dish it out to bankers who INTENTIONALLY pissed it all away

good on ya Kev and Wayne

HA HA HA our prime minister and treasurer are called Kevin and Wayne

awesome

it was $20 for VB!

that was pretty much all i drank over there. even at that lower rate it'd double what I pay for a 6er of quality small batch brews.

They've obviously heard the old adage

"Beer will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no beer."

gotta love the aussie's

when i was in the texas national guard we went to train with the 3rd RAR in Australia for our annual training... at then end of the exercise the aussies filled up a whole bunch of 55 gallon drums with ice and beer... we got totally wasted lol.
then of course we have a formation lol
pisser thing too is some asshole that ripped off my practice space also stole my brief case with all my army stuff in it... so i don't have my aussie Jump Wings no more :(

every aussie i have ever known could do some drinking.
makes sense to provide the nation with the national beverage
