Hi,
So, if I get it right, this happens only in one specific set, or can you create a new set and reproduce it?

hi
yeah - a set that i made in b.16
set up operator (string bass) bass precise FM (dark) and an audio track with a rendered audio track from live 7.0.12 - the rendered audio is stored in a separate folder to other audio that i am using in live 7
opened the set in beta 17 and the problem still occurs - last night i said that the problem didnt occur when duplicated the operator track but opening it today none of the undo functions on operators work
but the same preset in operator in new sets work ok
hey man - do you have time explain to me where the crash log txt etc is - the only bug reports that i have sent is when live has crashed and upon reopening live presents a window to write a description and then saves the set to the desktop
also what is a bug snapshot? read this in another thread
thanks

Hi,
- When Live crashes, you see on the next start of Live this window where you can write things (like how the crash occurred). It's not necessary to write in this window if you already described the steps in a mail or in the forum. Click OK to that window however, and you'll get an .alp file on your desktop, that you can send us. The size of the file is dependent on how long Live had been opened, so you should always try reproducing a crash just after starting Live, so that you get a smaller file.
- A bug reporting snapshot is basically the same, but one you force: the command is available in the Help menu, and should be used if you don't get a crash (so no automatic .alp file will be created).
In you case, what you could do is: restart Live, open a set where the "no Undo" happens, do some knob tweaking, try the Undo, and after you notice it does not work, for a few times, do a "bug reporting snapshot", and send it to
[email protected], with a link to that thread in the mail, so that we know what we are talking about.

Amaury

Hi,
It would be useful if you can send such a set, without samples, to
[email protected]. Please put a link to this thread.

Amaury
