Windows vsts on Mac

just saw this:

Doesn't look like you can use them inside Live as the host though. I'd be curious how well it work and how to route it to Live.

If that is free and will eventually work in Live, that would be kick ass, but until then, there is another option:

It's $99, but worth it depending on how much you love your PC VST's

AFAIK the fxpansion adapt only coverts Mac vsts to Audio Units. VFX allows you to run windows PC vsts inside OSX on an intel based Mac. Sorta like Parallels i think...

sounds like a great thing in theory - and i hope the full thing gets to work, but everytime i tried it - with various VSTS - it jus crashed. shame.

yeah it looks as if this pc vst's on macs is just around the corner, especially with v machine - but not there quite yet.

Kinda ironic that you spend twice the money of a PC on a Mac to then have to spend more money on a wrapper so you can run PC freeware...

yeah true. it's only a couple of plugins.
