i have a long take of improvs from a singer. While choosing the best on I use the start marker. Warping is turned off. However, after finding the right take, I decided the vocal was truncated at the top a bit, so I chose to resize the clip to the left in the track display. Doing so randomly sends the start marker in the clip somewhere to the right, i.e later in the timeline of the clip.

I've been doing this on multiple tracks all morning so it is repeatable. It does not happen with all clips, but consistently enough to report it.

My workaround has been to physically move the clip in the track display and then move the start marker again, but this sounds like a bug, so I thought I'd report it.

That definitely sounds like a bug. That said, I couldn't reproduce it with beta 19. Could you give a precise step by step instruction if you are able to reproduce it in a consistent manner?
