was making a track last night in b07

installed b019 today and no undo function will work on any devices or things like changing volume control, pan etc etc .. impulse, ping pong delay, simple delay etc etc

but opening a new set undo functions work

having the same problem here.. undo does not work very well on existing projects.. didn't try on new ones.

changes are added to the history but they don't actually have an effect on devices..

I've just loaded up an old set and tried various action which all undo OK in v19

nb using pc win xp2

what just happened was that the undo function would not work for anything from last nights set (b017) but i just dropped a new device onto one the tracks and now all the undo functions are working in b019

!!

i noticed that in my case this is related to "back to arrangement"

if you look into automation lanes, undo actually does updated the device parameter status, but the gui does not reflect the change.

if you click "back to arrange" the gui gets then automagically updated.

i closed the aforementioned set and re-opened it an hour later

hey man - just tried this and your right, this happens to me to and creates the problems that certain parameter changes then correspond the arrangement -

click back to arrangement and when i play clips in the session various things had changed including one huge volume jump on the bass track .. the fire brigade is on the way to remove me from the ceiling

just stripped a set to a single operator channel with no effects and sent it to [email protected]

note that this was happening consistently on every device and effect (both abe's and vsts) in this project

at the moment undo is working ok for me but will send a snapshot if it reoccurs

@Amaury: let me know if you were able to reproduce the problem with my set or if you need a snapshot
