Hi,

I recently bought a DSI Mopho and I want to use it with Live. I've got it connected to my audio interface, but it doesn't play in time (latency). So I'm guessing I should set the track delay for either my Midi channel or the Audio channel that receives the Mopho's signal, but I can't figure out how to do this.

My settings for my audio interface are :

Buffer size : 1014 samples
Input latency : 23.0 rns
Output latency : 49.5 rns
Driver error compensation : 110 rns
Overal latency : 183 rns

Can anyone tell me how to make this work? Thanks!

Hi,

First thing I'd do is the built-in lesson in Live which helps you set up your audio buffers - follow that and hopefully you can get the buffer much lower without any crackling audio and your latency will reduce. Try that for starters... If you still have issues after that it would be worth posting your new settings and the type of audio interface you're using...

Reduce the buffer size on your audio interface to get the latency as low as possible without audio drop outs when playing your tracks.

Thanks for the replies. I followed the lesson, and go the latency down to 159 rns, which I think is still pretty high, but I'm on a pretty old computer and can't afford to upgrade atm.

My audio interface is a Behringer BCA2000. I also have a Lexicon Lambda but it makes vrey loud hiss noises at random intervals, so I'll probably have to return it to the shop.

I belive it should be possible to compensate for the latency with the track delay settings, but I can't figure out which numbers to insert there.
