[awi] Live 8.0b20.exe won't quit

Open Live 8.0b20. Quit it - window close button, File > Quit, doesn't matter.
Open it again. Quit it again.
Open it again. Quit it again.
Every time - so far- each Live 8.0b20.exe process keeps running and is visible in Windows Task Manager, chewing up 25% CPU, even though all application windows are closed.
Of course the process can be killed from the task manager - but clearly it shouldn't be this way.

Hi,
It happens that some driver for USB MIDI devices make the Live process "stick", when Live crashes. The solution is to turn OFF/unplug the USB device, and the Live process will vanish. Is it what happens to you?
That is something we can't do anything about, it's a Windows vs driver problem.
Regards,
Amaury

I will try this tomorrow without the USB MOTU device I have on there.... however, please note that:
- Live never crashed, this happens just when you quit Live. Everything's OK, exit Live, application window closes, but the .exe is still running
- This is new to b20. Never happened on b12-b19, and I'm using the identical system.

Wait! I forgot this system hasn't been connected to the MOTU USB device for months. There are no USB MIDI drivers on this system.
This Live.exe "hang" is still happening on my system with 8.0b22. It happens whether I am exiting (not crashing!) from an actual project, or from the default "new project" on startup.
And also, when I quit Windows, I get one "End Program - xxx" dialog box for each hung instance of Live 8.0b22.exe. Two hung instances, two "End Program" windows - and "xxx" is some random string like "2dc" or "268". No such programs or processes are showing up in Windows.
I have to click "End Now" for each random 'program' to get Windows to restart.
The only audio/MIDI device I have on this system is the RME HDSP MADI card, latest driver.

Wait, I think I got it - and killed two "bugs" with one stone.
I do have MIDIYoke 1.75 running, and apparently I inadvertently created a MIDI feedback loop in my project.
When I was setting my MIDI preferences in Live the other day, Live crashed when I was in the midst of setting the Track / Sync / Remote for the MIDIYoke ports. It may have saved in a state of MIDI feedback, based on the MIDI routing in my Live project(s).
After opening Live and deselecting all active MIDIYoke assignments, I can now open my Sampler-intensive project in b22. As well, when I open and close b22, I no longer get a hanging .exe process. Appears this was related to a MIDI driver - just not a hardware one.
My bad. Uploaded crash packs are now removed. Thanks for listening.
