Doing a hot swap, or just dragging a preset in for operator/analogue/electric etc just results in the default patch all the time. It will show the name of the preset in the title bar, but that's it. 3rd party AU presets work fine.

Funnily enough, a preset I saved in a previous beta works.

all presets seem to load fine here. Which Live Pack version do you see for Operator or Analog in Live's Preferences/Library?

Sure, but I think it won't help in this case. Are you on Mac or PC? Can you doublecheck if it really happens with all instrument presets, e.g. try some presets from different subfolders.

I've tried a bunch of presets from different subfolders with the same issue. The only preset that worked was an operator preset that I had made and saved into the beta library last week.

I'm on 10.5.6 on a macbook pro.

When I get back in front of the music machine, I'll reboot and repair and will post back.

I'd recommend to uninstall Analog, Tension, Electric and Operator manually from the Preferences/Library, then click Repair. Live will offer to re-install those packs, which hopefully fixes your problem.

uninstalled everything, reinstalled it all.... and voila, working now
