Progressively raise the BPM with an Evolution UC-33E

Pretty simple question.

Let's suppose I'm djing @ 100 BPM.

Is there any way to do this trick: if I typed 140 in the UC-33E's keyboard, the BPM would progressively (in a few seconds) raise to 140 BPM without stuttering or raising in a horrible way ?

In poor words, if I typed 140 in the keyboard, is there a way like I raised a slider which controlled the BPM ?

Thanks to everyone who'll answer.

Hmmm, i haven't posted on here for a while but here goes!

It sounds like someting you'd need bome's midi translater for. I haven't used it myself but im pretty sure its doable.

If not then i have max/msp and i could code you a little app that would do this exact thing for you. I'm a bit busy so it might take me a couple of days but let me know and i'll see what i can do.

Assigning a slider/ knob to the bpm is easy, but bmp automation in session view...I'll try a few things.

Yes, but the original poster doesn't want to do that, he/she wants to be able to type the bpm in the UC-33e numeric keypad. Typing "1", "2", "6" just sends 3 different midi CCs/notes - there's no way to recognise that sequence as "126", unless you have a smart 3rd party utility that can translate it. Maybe Bome's on a PC, on a Mac, no idea.

I knew the person didn't want to assign a knob/slider - hence the rest of my statement - but I did miss the numeric entry part. Thanks for clearing that up for me ;)
