feature i wish for is; like in Logic, you hear the note you draw in the midi clip window.
Live 4 is a good thing.

i also wish that the piano keys in the midi window triggered notes (unless they already do somehow and i'm just being stupid).

There was some discussion about the "hear it while you draw" thing in some other thread - the bottom line was that it should be a preferences function, rather than a default setting. Most people performing live with Live don't want to hear the notes when drawing them out while other stuff is playing.

isn't this possible by using the ALT key?

really? ...you can do it with the ALT key? how do you do it on OSX?
but ya even if doesn't exist right now, if it were a pref. that would be cool.

I second that feature request. I would use that a lot. I wasn't even aware Logic did that.

Oh! it's >apple< key in os x, but just playing the vertical keys.
cool!
but still a pref to hear when you draw would be nice.
and thanks!
