I am having a problem..recently Live has been crashing everytime I try to export. It allows me to try to save the .wav, but then doesn't make it to the sample analysis save...it freezes on a "collecting info" screen then crashes altogether. Sometimes when I try to save the set (.als)..it saves successfully then crashes. I have tried on numerous projects same results..

I recommend to send us the Log.txt/Crashlog files.
This file contains useful information for identifying problems. The Log.txt file can be found in following location:
• Windows (Live 3): (Installation Directory)/Ableton/Preferences
• Windows (Live 4 and later versions): C:/Documents and Settings/your user name/ Application Data/Ableton/Live/Preferences
• Windows Vista: c:/users/username/appdata/roaming/ableton/live/preferences/
• Mac OS X: /User/Library/Preferences/Ableton

Note that on some Windows systems the application data folder is hidden by default. Here is what you have to do to make it visible:
Windows XP/2000
1. Launch Explorer.
2. Select Tools/Folder Options/View.
3. Check "Show hidden files and folders."
Notes:
OS X users: If you experience Live crashes, please send us also your Live Crash Log. You can find this here: /Users/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/Live.crash.log
• Please send the files as .zip attachment.

I did..3 days ago..no response yet. So i figured I'd come here.

Anybody?! This is very frustrating and I need some suggestions...

I also have this problem... When will it be fixed, please?

you could help us to isolate this problem when using the latest beta and try to get that crash there.

Starting the beta after a previous crash should create a bug reporting package you could send us afterwards.

registry error, if it is a bootleg look for another one

registry error, if it is a bootleg look for another one

I don't not know what about him but I have the same problem and I own an official version.

its the registry, try updateing from the site, if its a bootleg dont update from the site. or uninstall, delete everything related to ableton from the registry and reinstall
