Rainbow wheel

I get this a constantly recurring problem with Ableton 7 as rewire to Logic 8. When im clicking anywhere within Ableton the rainbow wheel shows up and i cant continue to work as its returning everytime im clicking on the objects. Sometimes erasing rewire files helps to dissolve it and sometimes its not. Its just happening sometimes. Anybody who could advice me what it could be?
