When i turn on the computer midi-keyboard, i can see that there is midi being received cause the top right box is illuminating, but it just wont make sound.
which is a pain in the arse cause i cant preview instruments.
for some reason it works for drum racks, but still not properly... is there anything i can do to fix this?
thanks in advance!

not that i know of. i went in and checked everything and found nothing. It's irritatimg cause when i press z or x i can see it register the octave change. and its obviously recieving midi cause the box lights up!

did you arm the track to record?
also, is "z" & "x" how you change octaves in midi-computer keyboard mode? i keep doing this accidentally and can't figure out how to correct it!

I noticed with the latest version you have to have focus on the VST instrument (in other words click on that window). Before you didn't have to have to do that.

not sure what the issue was, but it is working correctly now. I wonder if I just had the previous recordings setup with some odd "force quantize loop"....
oh well.
if you still want me to send you the live file, I can do so.
