Hello!

Does anyone if it was possible to utilize the audiophile 2496´s "coaxial S/PDIF digital input and outputs 4/4" to get 4 simultaneous tracks in to the LIVE?

what do you mean?

4 tracks over spdif? no that is not possible, you need AES/EBU for that, which the 2496 does not have.

but you can run 2 tracks mono(2x channels) analog over the chinch (phono plug) and 2 tracks mono(2x channels) over the spdif.

Answer was what I supposed, but had to make sure before purchasing a mixer, so that did not have to first buy a mixer and then learn that some other mixer did make possible to record multiple channels simultaneously...
