L8 Operator from L7 ?

Is there an upgrade in vers 8 ?
Is this upgrade included in standard L8 upgrade or in Suite8 upgrade ? Or is it additional ?

im assuming itll be like the upgrade from 6 - 7. if you had operator already its not gonna cost you.
but we all know what happens when you assume..

This is exactly what Ableton support confirmed to me in an email. I own Operator 7, so will get Operator 8 when I upgrade L7->L8 without having to buy Operator again or Suite, etc.
Am downloading right now, so I'll let you know if that's right in practice! If you have any doubt for your config, just drop them a line...

Yup, am running Live 8 right now and Operator works just as I wrote above. Same for Sampler.

It's the new Operator with all the new features like the waveform editor. Very nice indeed.
