hey, you think you got a cheap deal ... I've downloaded the 8.01 demo installer 15 times already and am starting in my 16th.
just wait till I install all these babies together, my 16x Live setup is going to ROCK!
imagine the sound of 16 Lives all playing at once, that shit is going to be PHLOUD!

FWIW I just downloaded the 1.2GB Live suite installer in about 15 mins. Speed averaged 1.2MB
All the recent server changes made a big difference

Try elevating your internet connection/modem so that it is higher than your computer, that way gravity might help speed things up.

do you think being on the other side of the frigging planet that might maybe not apply?? no problems here, I just know the downloads can take a while. the betas took about 90 minutes, except the last one, which downloaded fast, it was the only one I didn't download the day of its release, lesson learned for me.
