how dope do these things sound? am i going to hear unheard noises on the records i sample?

I have some of these, and found that it is easier to hear the kind of frequency conflicts that can the bass seem 'muddy' -- paid $200 for mine a few years back.

[edit] I even brought my laptop into the store and a/b'ed them with what were my current pair at the time.

so like it reveals the mistakes at 300hz or lower pretty well?
