Just downloaded live 8 full, crashing and locking up!

Just downloaded 8 after testing the beta and it is acting strange, crashed twice while warping from here, also clips keep playing without the bar counter moving! very strange, wonder if there have been any similar problems, the beta seemed to work ok, but the full version is playing up!, I am not new to Live and i am really trying to get around the new warping which may be great, i like it but I'm not there yet.
