he has a small kit behind, an ACTUAL kit. then he has some pedals or some other kind of trigger that is physically moving the beater and the stick to hit the drums. you can actually see the stick hitting the snare right above his head.

that was pretty awesome. it seems like he has midi shoes that convert the signal to actual gears and mechanisms?

ya my money is on mechanical.. i bet that the pad is masking some pedals.. plus you can see him trigger the cymbal with his right arm.

o and i'm not thrilled about being tricked into listening to some guitar player try and tune then have to sit through yet another rendition of Hotel California
