I upgraded from Suite 7 to Suite 8, and now i don t see my suite instruments any more in Lives Browser.

This is what Abletons Website says about my License:

well, all the Livepacks are installed, but Live 8 seems to think that i only own Live, Collision and Latin Percussion, not the whole Suite...

same here. I contacted support, maybe you should do the same. will let you know what they say when I hear back...

OK, good to hear it s not my fault. But it s a bad timing as it is easter so probably they won t help us till Tuesday. Not a perfect start for my Live 8.
I think i will use the Demo mode till then.

this seems obvious, but you could try this -
open preferences/user account licenses

click the link in there to visit ableton.com/authorise

and Live will open your browser at the correct page.
Press the button on that page marked "authorise this computer"

and it should do a little dance to authorise those add-on things that are not currently authorised.

of course, you could use the offline version if your music machine is not online.

I think the Auth system changed with 8.02, so it might be worth poking the server just to see what happens.

I have done that as the very first step.

By the way, even though I have just installed Live 8, I have received an email from Ableton informing me that I have reached the maximum allowed authorisations. But it's the very first time I have installed v8. ???

Something is wrong.

Preferences > Authorisation shows:
Live 8
Collision

but I have the whole instruments suite authorised, which shows in my Live 7.

Don't worry I had the same issue. You need to transfer your Live 8 license to the liscense that contains your suite instruments. Support will do this for you.

You won't see the old 'authorize unlock in Live 8.

I called customer services, got through immediately, they spotted the issue and five minutes later license (OIC) was transferred. Unlocked again online and all was fine.
