just want to see if LIVE would recognize two audio interfaces in the drop down screen in options menu.
Which one shows up in LIVE's options? is it the one i turned 'ON' first? or it just chooses one for me?Tone Deft wrote:it's not in the drop down menus.cperezzz wrote:yea,i'm on a pc. some google searches showed it can be possible. but, none showed of any instances of using ABLETON LIVE.dcease wrote:very easy on mac, not as easy with pc, but i believe it's possible... maybe a pc guru will step in, and help out, short of that, try a google search...

Not quite. As I posted in the "hardware setup" window of the asio4all driver (don't remember which version - must have been around 9 months ago) you can activate & deactivate in/outputs from different interfaces/cards/chips. (This was on XP Prof SP2)Gab wrote:What does "at once" means for you?
You can run a DAW with two interfaces hooked to your PC but the DAW will be able to use only one - at least on XP. So,
Surely a man of your means can do better? perhaps something from Apogee or Metric Halocperezzz wrote:i have two M-AUDIO FAST TRACK PRO interfaces.
i'm just trying to use what i have now until the new ZOOM R16 multitrack recorder/controller comes out in a few weeks or so.twisted-space wrote:Surely a man of your means can do better? perhaps something from Apogee or Metric Halocperezzz wrote:i have two M-AUDIO FAST TRACK PRO interfaces.
Edit: Didn't notice you're on a pc.

It worked for behringer UCA200 as output 1/2 & the onboard soundchip as 3/4. Though as soon as I activated an in/output from my Soundblaster Live PCI, the other 2 devices wouldn't play. And as mentioned above, the diffenrent latencies of the devices render the whole thing useless. (although I expect if you had the same interface twice it might work)
