Song sound worse when i render it

It doesn't sound as good as it does when ever I play the song in Ableton.
I don't know how to explain it.
For Example:

Any help on the rendering process please?

try Powr-2 for dither. Also make sure your tracks aren't going into the red on the master channel.

Glad that made things sound better. I don't have any difference between my "Play" sound and "Render" sound without any dithering. However, I notice you have it set to convert to MONO which would definitely change the sound. Are you setting it up for using on a mono PA or something?

dither was your answer.
reason being the 16 bit render rate. any time you go below 32 bit, you need to use dither.

recording the master output in one track is better than rendering, if you wanna get a better sound.

thats because it records it in 32 bit. you can render to the same bit rate

yes but, using the same bit rate, it should be slightly better if you record it, than if you render it.
Live rendering a 4 minute songs in a few seconds, makes me very suspicious about the computation used to render the file.

You've got to upgrade that 286, indeed suspicious
It doesn't take a fast computer as long to produce all the pieces of songs that we listen to over time. I used to do realtime mixdowns through virtual mixers on my old Creamware system (RIP) which sounded great but was annoyingly time consuming.

yes, "convert to mono" could be a reason for the render sounding worse!!
Also the OP should check his levels, if the original mix will go over 0 db (red in the master) it might sound fine when playing back but sounds bad when rendering. You can check the "normalize" option in order to reduce this.
