problem when recording midi notes over 2 clips

here's how to reproduce what i mention:
1 start recording a midi clip and hold a single note
2 start recording another clip in the same track (the 'record on launch' must be activated), while keeping the note on.
in the 2nd clip, the note will appear to be played again (there's a NOTE ON message on the first beat).
this is a problem, because for a single event, it creates 2.
i think it would be better if the note was cut at the end of the first clip and didn't appear in the 2nd.
