As described in the manual, chain selection in zones Racks can be used to create Presets. But if you have let's say, three chains (call them A, B and C) and would like to have presets for each of them alone and for ALL combinations of the three (so A, B, C, AB, AC, BC, ABC), you can't achieve that, since you only get one zone per chain.
That's why i suggest a command for inserting more selection zones to a chain.

i've often wished there were more than one zone possible on a single chain.

maybe you should rename the subject to 'multiple zones per chain' or something..?
