I live in NY - this site is what I see in real life every direction I turn.

we have them here, too. Like cockroaches

being in northern CA, they are like flies on shit.

I think my eyes are burning now...

All of those people were reason #1 why I quit going to raves circa 1995.

When I walk through Berkeley, Oakland or SF now and see their kin, my mind quickly files them in a catagory marked LOL and then dumps about 2 minutes later.

Not everyone there looked so bad - some look like they might be out of it (fucking hipsters indeed), but some people had a nerd zen going on - what the fuck do you, so superior, post rave beat junkies look like:)

I myself am not at the height of fashion as I work on my computer producing music all day - give people a break (especially nerds - they need your love)....

funny is that I am up in sonoma county where they are "behind the times", people really take themselves quite seriously with their hip look combined with spiritual materialism (religion of the moment)

they migrate from the malevolent street roaming kind into 'driving around in a Merc with black windows and a boot full of weapons' about the age of 20. Pretty much every bar/club/anything is filled to the brim with them.
So for me, seeing anyone with a weird outfit or conspicious weirdness is a breth of fresh air. At least I can be pretty sure they aren't going to randomly injure me or my girl just to satisfy their pathetic gang membership requirements.
