Choosing a name more difficult than writing tunes

After finally being happy enough with a tune to actually want to share it, every damn artist name I come up with is already taken. Been three days off and on trying to think of something, tried random name generators, looking through books, song titles... and when I finally think "OK, crap name but it'll do", a quick Google shows it's already taken.
(In other news, a pandemic is looming and the economy is tanking even more than before)

Give yourself a number. It will most likely not be mine.

"Goldenrod Or A Geyser" is though!!! no?!
I would go for a play on words like "See My Circle" or "Fun Queue"... or maybe not...

your right.. i'm jealous of people with cool names, why couldn't I have been called Amon Tobin?
a self given pseudonym has never felt like a good idea to me either.
i'm only called danzel on here cause my name is dan and somebody used to call me danzel washington for no particular reason.

sounds like a music hall name to me, like you should be playing the spoons or doing ventriloquism or summat
i reckon nicknames given to you by your mates are always the best, what would they call you?
or just 'dorsey' sounds quite cool to me..

Dude...... that's the funkiest name I've heard in ages. Seriously stick with that! If I had a decent name like that I'd defo be using it. You can be AGD for short as well.

I was joshing about Arnold George Dorsey (l2Google!) Tis a cool name tho', maybe I should use it...
I love simple, impact names, Klaxons, Aphex Twin, Soulwax, these are great names IMO.
I'll give it a look. already read thru the periodic table and a list of Scrabble approved 3-letter words.

Try an anagram of a cool existing name (why not yours, btw?), it may result in someting even cooler.
