Recording SYSEX data

Hello,
I'm having trouble recording sysex data to a live clip.
The sysex data contains patches from my synth.
My synth is set up fine, since it work flawless in Logic.
Everytime I try to record my data-dump, there's nothing in the clip.
Anyone ?

live doesn't support SYSEX messages... in fact...it filters them out...

Thanks for the lightning fast reply.
But that sucks, no sysex.
I always like to "'dump"' my patches with my songs to keep it organized.

yeah.. I was bummed out as well when I first found out...
but like Tone says... Midi Ox is a nice addition ... (anyways)
I use it also to route all my Midi devices into/from Live...

Well, it's not a huge problem, since I can save the patches straight to my computer via the NM G2 editor, and then throw them in my project folder.
But having them straight in the arrangement would be better.
Only thing that annoys me is that I cannot make program changes within a song.

Since you're on OSX, you can use Sysex Librarian:
http://www.snoize.com/SysExLibrarian/

Not exactly what you want, but it works well and it's free.
Just adds an extra step to your set loading.

But what are you actually trying to do? Why do you want to dump Sysex into Live? Sounds like you want patch changes within a song, which is entirely possible via any clip with simple program changes; including dummy clips if you want to do it on the fly.
