Live 7 & Nord Wave Help

Hi,
I have live 7 and have just bought a Nord Wave keyboard, but when I try to record some live filtering from the Nord - Live doesn't recognize any of what I done. I want to be able to draw/record altermation from my Nord Wave and be able to play it back and edit before I record it to audio. The Midi I/O on the Nord goes though a Motu micro lite Midi interface.
Does anyone know a way for this to work?
