Snap to and other features in automation ..MAX ?

I Really dont care how many times its been posted previous to this but for god sakes can we have snap to grid when automating .. plus.... the ability to input vales for break points. and last but not least editable curves and a big ass page of preset curves to choose from like in NI Massive's performer. i dont get why at very least snap to grid wasnt added in live 8 ... is this the type of thing somone could build in Max ?? like a fully featured modulation device that u could automate vst's with ? man that would be awesome.. so many great sounding synths like zeta that would be bananas if u had cuttings edge synced modulation to automate cutoff and the likes
