Let's talk about drums machines/synths in Live 4

I'm new to this great product, but I find the built in drum synth to be pretty limited. What are you folks using. I've always preferred to program my drums instead of using loops although I wouldn't object to loops if Ableton has any special magic to make it realistic. Drums play a real important role in my material. I own Steinberg LM4, NI Battery, Fxpansion DR-008 (which crashes Live every time), Muon SR-202, Drumagog, Drumkits From Hell 2, etc.

What do you use and what seems to work best for your beatz? :D

I like NI Battery. Is there any way in Live to have multile outs from battery?

To be honest, I don't know enough about how VSTi's work with Live yet to try, but I have it on the agenda.

Has anyone tried Fxpansion BFD drums? I heard they sound really, really good. Any Live users tried it yet?

What in Impulse is particular limiting for you? You can route everyout put, use fx on each output and use all the "default editing" on each sample in Impulse. I dont see more limitations than in ReDrum, which i find to be very flexible. Only downside i see in Impulse, is that you can't "browse" samples like in ReDrum. Thats a genious feature imho :D
