Mac OS X Multiuser problems with live 4

Hello

I´m having a little trouble with live 4 on my ibook.
Live 3 and 4 run perfect with my main user (admin).
For live 4 i created a dedicated user and encountered the following problems:
1. I have to unlock live again. I hope this does not count as a full installation
2. The VSTs aren´t available. I think this has something to do with the preferences.
3. BIGGEST PROBLEM : I cannot access the live 4 presets with samples included. (ok, i should make my own, but they are a good starting point)

I´ve switched back to my main user for now, but I would appreciate help

No, on Mac OS X is doesn't count as a full installation. You can also try to copy the ~/Library/Application Support/Ableton/Live 4.0.1/Unlock folder to Library/Application Support/Ableton/Live 4.0.1/Unlock. Make sure all users have read access to the Unlock.cfg file. Then all users are unlocked. But you have to do this procedure once you get an upgrade.

You might have to setup the path to the VSTs again.

Quite easy: you probably installed Live as the admin user in /Applications/

So in the Live Folder there are 2 Folders for your Presets und Samples, named "Factory Content" and "Factory Presets". As Admin User, you have to grant rights for every user on your system to have read access to these folders. This is done by "show info" in finder for each of these folders and in "owner & rights" under group you have to set "Others" to read.

Sorry, if my english terms do not match exactly, because I work on OS X german.
