Rewire error on 8.0.2 startup

Hi abletonians,
since i updated to 8.0.2 i'm having a problem with rewire engine, i get a message on the startup telling that there is an error and it's not going to work.
¿Do you think is a bug of 8.0.2? ¿is it happening to anyone else?

Exact same problem, also since 8.0.2
The error message says : "An error has occured while opening the ReWire system. ReWire will not work properly" .
That's being said, I don't use ReWire, so I just click ok and everything is fine. It still would be nice to have a way to solve this problem.

Hi,
close all applications and try to install the rewire.dll from propellerheads site:
http://www.propellerheads.se/download/f ... _7_Win.zip
Then restart Live as standalone.

This just started happening to me. I did as suggested and downloaded the Rewire file and no more Error message

Hi, I've the same problem with ReWire system; I've done all stages to authorize ableton on this pc (I've the original on mac), but when I do the online authorization, I receive the same message. So, I've saved the new rewire from the link posted by michael and I've launched live, but the problem continue to exist!!
What must I do?

Thank you. Mac didn't used to suck, but its starting to. Because Apple now sucks, and the fish rots from the head down.

BTW, one other thing. This problem, for me, is associated on the Mac with Live 8.2.1 asking me to enter my Mac password on starting up Live. Which I guess is to be expected for the first time you run a new rev of Live after installing it, but every time you start it up after that? So is this the same Rewire issue or is it something else? And why did this just start now? (I've used Reason as an external instrument in Live for a long time and never had this issue with it). Same behavior with 8.2 and 8.2.1.

Well, apple/mac is definitely not for me, but I can understand that people like it

Wow, what a quick fix after just experiencing the problem for 15 minutes. Mine occurred after uninstalling 2 programs in a row. The demo of Max for Live, or Reaper 64 (sorry can't have Live rewired without running my VST's in live, not worth it). Perhaps a problem with the removal of a necessary from a shared folder, though I am no tech.
Love me some Live.
