I am using live 7.014. Just got the software in November so I'm still learning it. I'm using live with my Roland MV8000. and Presonus Vfire. I've made 8 audio tracks that are inputs from the Vfire. I'd like to take these 8 tracks and make them a group then hide the original tracks to have maximum real estate. Can this be done? Also when Try to add an audio effect on these tracks. I get the circle with the line through it. Where in the manual is the section on using external devices?

To group tracks and hide them, you'll need to upgrade to version 8. To incorporate your external gear, read the Routing & I/O section of the manual.
