Anybody tried this before with his laptop ?

After going through a big amount of trouble to have a multiple channel USB soundcard connected to my PC laptop, I gave up and limited myself to the built-in one ... so no prelistening and so on. However, In my neverending quest for a reliable multichannel environment, I came accross this: http://www.magma.com/pci/pci_1slot_main.html
It is a PCI extension for laptops. Basically it's a box where you can put in a PCI card [soundcard - for example a Mia] and connect it to your laptop with a PCMCIA card.
Since PCMCIA seems to be more stable than USB, I thought it would be a great replacement. However, I would like to know if somebodyo n this board already tried this.
