ROLAND SH-101, JUNO 60, and LITTLE PHATTY

I just sold my Little Phatty to buy a Juno 60. Now my setup is an SH 101 and Juno 60. I think the Juno 60 will go better with the 101 because the 60 has some sick leads. The LP and the 101 are both bass synths and I felt like they weren't meshing together well.

Does anyone use a Juno 60? What synths go well the 101 or the 60? I need a lead synth and haven't found one I'm in love with... A lot of people tell me to pick up a Nord Lead but I've decided not to own synths made after 1984 (arbitrary rule I'm gonna try out for a little while so I don't use any MIDI).

Also just finished a new tune I made with only the SH101 > What Now? http://www.myspace.com/subharmoniks

I dont have a juno 60 but I have the juno 106 and I find that leads are not the strong point but it is not bad for them.

The junos are not velocity sensitive which may or may not be a problem for you.

Also the sounds are much more condusive to pads i think and if it is a lead more of a mellow or a spacey one. I love my juno to death and I use it constantly but I wouldnt say it isa screaming lead synth. Although you can do almost anything with it.

I make basses pads and leads with it.

Not sure if that helped lol.
