Dropping of Audio Clips doesn´t generate new track anymore

Hi guys,
this might have been reported before but I discovered today that dropping audio clips or Instrument presets to the unused slot area they don´t generate new tracks anymore. this has always been a useful feature in Live since I use it, but now it´gone.
I use Mac 10.5 and Live 8.02

hi jörg,
i think nothing special. I just recognized that since I installed the version 8 this feature doesn´t work anymore over here... what would you recommend? delete the preferences and try again?
if it works fine at yours it has to be some strange problem with my computer, right?

Hi Mok,
does the problem still occur with 8.0.3? It includes a related fix for a similar problem dragging certain clips from the browser to the arrangement directly - not sure if the problem on your computer occurred in Session- or Arrangement view...

sorry for the late answer, I was away some days...
it works fine now, maybe because of the update, maybe because it was somekind of bug with my mac...
so, thank you for your help!
