Running a set on my desktop and finding occasional distortion and sloppy timing when I get up around 70% and flicking into 80%. Noticed this sloppiness and noise around this cpu level in the betas too. Anyone else?

Good point, I'll check it out in 9, won't be quite the same tho as I don't have the same plugs for 9, I'll check anyway tho.

I have noticed that I get audio glitches in Live (as well as DP) with CPU loads as low as 50% - I believe it is because I am trying to run with very low latency (under 10 mS). Increasing the buffer size (i.e. increasing the latency) solves the problem.
I am on a Powerbook, btw and I can't be sure but I think I've seen it in both OS9 and OSX.

I'm getting audio glitches and slow down at 25-30% cpu. Seems like live uses a ton of ram now. I have increased the latency and seems to have helped a little. At about 17ms of latency now and it seems to be a an improvement.
I have 896megs of ram in my G4 867hz and when running live my Activity Monitor shows I only have 12megs of ram avaliable!!! My song is not even that hefty compared to older projects.
