as stated in the title, we have A/B groups - I want C/D groupd as well please!!!


I would like it if I could assign tracks to groups a,b,c,d like deck groupings.

as it is now I dont use a crossfader on lives crossfader control, I use midi keys, 1 key for A group, 1 key for the B group and the key between them for both groups.

I would love to have 4 track group setups, like 4 decks.

I suppose this would be pretty cool actually.

Its great that Ableton have introduced a crossfader into the mix. Love the things you can do with it whilst producing as well as DJ'n. Adding another would certainly give us even more creative options. Especially for those of us with multiple MIDI controllers or creative ways of mapping them like you have done.

How did you do that by the way? Please walk me through how you managed to map it keys.

when you midi map the crossfader it should be divided into sections

when you open the midi map page the crossfader will show 4 assignable spots, 1 is a sliding crossfader, the other 3 are A/B/Combined, these are not visible in normal view, they are only visible in midi map view.
