Hi,

I ve realised that if you try importing tracks that belong to another project (no matter version) Ableton ( wont import this tracks. On smoe ocassions if the track to be imported its a midi track, it lets you preview but not drop in session view creating a new track containig that track you would like to import. Also it happens with all Ableton devices, you must save the track as a ableton preset, or you wont be able to import from browser.

I used to be ble to this in Version 7, but unable to do it on Live 8

Any ideas???

working fine over here, how can the problem be reproduced?
Please note that you have to drop the tracks you want to import onto a track´s title bar in Session view.
In general it is always helpful to mention your computer/operating system & exact version of Live when you post about a problem here.
