Peaks in Tracks Producing Crackling.

I have had a recent problem in Ableton that I did not have before. I have changed my hardware from a sapphire pro10 to a pro40 with a personus D8.
Since this change whenever a track peaks, including the master volume, I get a crackel and its quite exaggerated. Is their anyway I can stop Ableton from reacting so harshly to this peaking of tracks like it did before?
Any help would be great!

sounds like you might want to recompute your Latency settings (Preferences->Audio->Latency). At least I had to change the default values to reduce crackling artifacts I had with my Motu Ultralite. There´s a tutorial for helping you configure it included in Live; hope that helps!

This has reduced the crackling, but has not completly removed it. What settings do you recommend? Or if anyone has suggestions on settings.
