Hi I used to use this VST called Ultrachopper on the PC.

Now I am on a macbook using leopard and they dont make a mac version of the VST but I loooove this effect. It is just a straight up step sequenced chopper. DOes anyone know of one that works just like this that is available for mac?

Audio Damage Big Seq or Storm Gate!

You could easily build one using live devices in a rack.
Build it once and then pop it in your library.
From there you can map the im[portant parts to macro knobs.
Then automate those in a live clip.

thanks everyone, I actually tried the STORM GATE as Version 1 is available free on their site, and I gotta say its exactly what I needed, already used it in a set tonight. Thanks for the advice all!
