This is my first day without a (regular/day) job... i'm going on employment insurance which will alleviate some of the financial burden, but not all.

Anyone here in the same position and have some tips to make ends meet?

Stop drinking, and exercise more to kill the stress and fill up your time with something good for you. Keeps the depression away. Just found out I might be unemployed again as of Thursday or next Friday (again, still, always, argh) so I'm sure we can trade tips then :)

Cook your own meals, mostly based on fresh veggies.

Don't go out drinking.

If you're bored, exercise.

Dont start dealing drugs, yes its profitable but highly risky, youll end up in a bad place.
